MORENA: Congress national president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday took on the BJP for announcing that he opposes PM Narendra Modi in his zeal.
"They say, Rahul Gandhi opposes Narendra Modi. I don't. The day Narendra Modi starts helping farmers, poor, small traders and stops diving India, I will not oppose him," Rahul said at a public meeting in Sabalgarh. "But till the time the Prime Minister does not do justice to the nation's poor, farmers, and labourers, let the rest of the country think what it will, I will continue to oppose him."
The AICC president took a dig at PM Modi's-Mann Ki Baat. "For 14 years, I have been in politics. Show me one instance where I have made a false promise. When I said farm loan will be waived, it was. I said MNREGA will be taken to nook and corner of rural areas, it was. I went to Bhatta Parsaul, I said that land acquisition reforms will be made and the Bill was passed," Rahul said.
He said he respects other people and won't lie. "You are my strength. I am not anything without you. I don't speak Mann Ki Baat. What is in my mind is not important, what is in the minds of the youth and farmers is important. What is the minds of mothers and sisters is important," he said.
