Rajkot: Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) has roped in 1,100 of its workers to explain to voters the good thing about segregation of wet and dry waste.
The civic frame held assembly with all of the stake holders like chairman of quite a lot of housing societies, business complexes, hotel and restaurant house owners, hostel authorities, marketing associations on Thursday to tell them about segregation of waste.
The 1,100 RMC personnel individuals will be disbursed in 18 wards. They will begin their work from 6am and seek advice from the societies to explain the significance of waste segregation.
They will meet folks and recommend them when them come to present the waste to the municipal waste collection van. RMC has already declared that it won’t settle for mix waste. However, several cases of altercation between the voters and waste collection van agents was reported from several spaces.
RMC commissioner Banccha Nidhi Pani stated, “The segregation of the waste is most effective conceivable with the co-operation of the people. We will even organize seminars in colleges for youngsters at the significance of cleanliness.”
