KANPUR: As many as 13 students of a public school in Unnao district fell unwell after being administered rubella (measles) vaccine on Monday. The youngsters have been rushed to the district hospital soon after the vaccination once they complained of nausea, fever, abdomen pain and vomiting.
CMO, Unnao, Dr Lalta Prasad and different health officers visited St Peters School and requested the district hospitalauthorities to take stock of the situation. The CMO mentioned five students are still present process remedy whilst eightwere discharged. He mentioned there was once no need to panic as the typical uncomfortable side effects such asfever, rashes, nausea and dizziness may just happen in some casesfollowing such vaccination. Children continuously fell unwell due to anxietywhich might lead to vomiting, he added.
