PANCHKULA: As the sunlight dims, a number of parking quite a bit in Panchkula turn out to be bars. Residents hesitate to move near these quite a bit, which have reported various incidents of brawls previously.
A TOI workforce that went for a reality test on Monday evening found no presence of police drive at markets. At 8.45pm, Sector 8 automobile parking space was once filled with cars and people had made the bonnets as bar-tables. Car-o-bar was once also going on in each automobile parked in front of a liquor vend.
A bunch of men had saved liquor bottles on the bonnet at the side of meals pieces. They had alcohol with none concern of regulation for over two hours. They had been speaking in loud and abusive language, spoiling the environment for passers-by.
One of the passers-by, a resident of Sector 8, said, “This is a common follow right here. We have complained many a time to cops, however they have completely failed to forestall this task. Either cops are hand in gloves with the liquor vend proprietor or don’t hassle about residents’ protection.” At markets of sectors 5 and 9, the TOI workforce saw families, who had come for a movie or dinner, having a difficult time strolling previous people eating liquor brazenly within the parking quite a bit.
