PANAJI: Taking cognizance of Monday’s incident in which police staff allegedly assaulted a member of the public, director basic of police (DGP) Muktesh Chander stated that there will have to be some “defect within the coaching” of “short-tempered police staff”. DGP stated that those police staff will probably be given “exemplary punishment” and it set an example for others.
