VADODARA: Stray canines mauled six blackbucks to loss of life in the Kamatibaug zoo here early on Friday morning. Two different blackbucks have been badly injured via the dogs.
According to zoo officials, the stray canines entered the enclosure via some openings. A security guard at the zoo heard the noises in the enclosure and rushed there. The guard alerted different security workforce and the zoo officials have been additionally informed.
Zoo officials stated that by the time they reached the spot and scared the canines away, the dogs had mauled eight blackbucks. Six blackbucks have been discovered useless within the enclosure while two others had severe wounds because of canine bites.
