RANCHI: Poor and marginal farmers in Jharkhand will now be able to rent tractors and farm apparatus at low costs for ploughing their land and harvesting.
Union agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh and Jharkhand leader minister Raghubar Das on Thursday introduced JFarm Services. A cell utility, JFarm Services will pool roughly 12,000 tractors throughout 24 districts of Jharkhand and rent it out to farmers via cell utility and a toll-free quantity for tilling their lands for sowing.
