MANGALURU: The town police have detained six local males, including two minors, on fees of raping a lady, who had arrived with a male friend at Thota Bengre.
According to town police commissioner TR Suresh, the incident happened a week in the past. However, the police had been in a position to convince the lady to report her observation handiest on Monday night.
As in step with the sources, within the police department, the lady and her friend, each labourers, had been having some non-public time at Thota Bengre when the six local males, all fishermen, happened to see them and took advantage of the placement.
Sources stated they assaulted the male friend and gang-raped the lady. The lady, then again, did not come ahead to sign in a criticism until the police persuaded.
Uma Prashanth, DCP (Crime and Traffic), showed that a case was being registered.
