MP assembly elections: BJP releases third list of contestants, adjusts Gaur's daughter-in-law, Vijayavargiya's son

BHOPAL: The central election committee of BJP on Thursday launched its third listing of 32 candidates including essentially the most arguable seats of Indore district and Bhopal's Govindpura assembly constituency.

According to an official release, within the listing, the party has announced Krishna Gaur, daughter-in-law of former chief minister Babulal Gaur as official candidate from arguable Govindpura seat the place Babulal had put his claim for the last 10 assembly elections amid tussle over his alternative with BJP state basic secretary V D Sharma.

Gaur mentioned that he is happy that Krishna will now take over the duty of his assembly constituency.


In Indore, BJP adjusted Akash Vijayavargiya, son of national basic secretary Kailash Vijayavargiya from Indore-2 seat which used to be received through his follower Ramesh Mandola through a margin of more than 90,000 votes. Mandola has been shifted to Indore 2 while, Usha Thakur, who received Indore 3 seat has been shifted to Mhow.


Vijayavargiya had a day ahead of mentioned that he used to be in favour of promoting younger faces. He had also said that Ramesh Mandola, MLA from Indore 2 is ready to vacate his seat for Akash.


The party has also given probability to Rakesh Chaturvedi, who joined BJP from Congress 4 years again, to contest Bhind assembly seat and fielded Ajit Borasi, son of former Congress leader Premchand Guddu, who joined BJP in New Delhi, from Ghattiyya seat in Ujjain district.


BJP is yet to release six names including Bhopal North seat which anticipated through night time or the next day, mentioned resources.
