NEW DELHI: Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu on Friday stated that Punjab chief minister Cpt. Amarinder Singh is Army's captain while his (Sidhu's) captain is Congress' president Rahul Gandhi. Sidhu had won flak for attending the groundbreaking rite of Kartarpur hall, Pakistan, in his “non-public” capability, even after being urged against it through Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
Addressing a press convention in Telangana, Sidhu stated that Rahul Gandhi is not only his captain but of alternative Congress leaders too.
"Captain Amarinder Singh is Army's captain and my captain is Rahul Gandhi. Captain's (Amarinder's) captain is also Rahul Gandhi," stated Sidhu.
