SHILLONG: RTI activist Agnes Kharshiing and her affiliate Anita Kharshiing had been attacked by means of unidentified miscreants in East Jaintia Hills on Thursday and brought to a clinic in Shillong in important condition.
According to reports, she had long past to the coal-rich Lad Rymbai space and was once attacked while returning to Shillong. The ladies had been attacked when they had been taking photos of coal-laden trucks. Agnes has campaigned against the illegal mining performed by means of the coal mafia within the state.
