BENGALURU: A 30-year-old particular person has been arrested through Vidhana Soudha police for allegedly forging Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s signature in a fake advice letter to the Karnataka prime courtroom registrar, wherein it asked to employ his as a typist.
Police said that the accused has been identified as Sanjay Kumar Uded, a resident of Belagavi and an employee with a non-public company. Police said that they had registered a case of cheating and forgery a week ago towards Sanjay in accordance with a grievance filed through Rajeshwari, deputy registrar of prime courtroom.
A special group arrested the accused from Belagavi.
“We have brought him to Bengaluru town and produced sooner than the courtroom. We have taken him to police custody for additional probe,” a police officer said.
Police said that Sanjay had prepared a fake advice certificate of the Prime Minister Office (PMO) and solid Narendra Modi’s signature. The letter was once made to seem like it was once dispatched from the PMO and it reached the registrar office.
The prime courtroom officials had been stunned to notice advice letter from the PM for a typist submit. The fake letter had directed the registrar office to present typist job to Sanjay.
“They suspected foul play and sent the letter to the prime courtroom vigilance wing to verify it. The vigilance group communicated with the PMO and they confirmed no such advice letter was once dispatched. Vigilance officials submitted a report back to the registrar office,” a police officer said.
Deputy registrar Rajeshwari had filed forgery case towards Sanjay on December 17. The accused confessed to his crime.
“Sanjay had finished his BSc and typing course. He had saved eye on govt jobs and applied for typist's submit in February. He he's going to get the job easily if he got a advice letter from Narendra Modi," she said.
