Cops to use 251 breathalyzers to nab drunken people

SURAT: City police will make tight safety preparations on Dumas Road and surrounding areas to make sure peaceful celebrations on the eve of New Year. At least 1,300 policemen, traffic brigade and residential guard jawans might be on responsibility. Police will use 251 breathalyzers to nab drunken people.

Entry of cars on Dumas Road might be restricted after 5pm on Monday. Those who had already reached Dumas seaside might be allowed to return. Police will prohibit entry of cars on the stretch taking into account heavy rush of revellers.
