Cops yet to find body of youth feared drowned

NOIDA: Police are yet to trace the body of a 22-yearold man who's feared to have drowned in the Yamuna on his birthday on Sunday.

The police have formed 4 groups, including divers, to seek for the body. Bittu, who worked for a shoe-manufacturing company and at first from West Bengal, had long past to the riverbank near DND Flyway to celebrate his birthday. There had been 15 people in the crew. His friends stated while they had been consuming pizza at a distance, Bittu and four others made up our minds to take a plunge into the river. The area where they made up our minds to take the bathtub is over 6ft deep and the current may be very robust, police stated.

Manoj Pant, the SHO of Sector 20 police station, stated the 4 groups had been looking the area between the DND riverbank and the Okhla Barrage for the previous 3 days.


Vishal, one in every of Bittu’s friends who was with him on Sunday, stated: “Some people told them not to soar into the river, but they didn't concentrate to us,” Vishal stated.


Bittu’s family members have alleged a conspiracy behind his loss of life.


“Bittu will have been saved via his friends. Instead, he was left to die,” a relative stated. “We are taking a look into every side of the case. We need to hint the body,” Pant stated.
