Lucknow: Man fights with wife, sets self on fire

LUCKNOW: A man immolated himself after a combat together with his wife over a petty issue in Faizullaganj, beneath Madiaon police station, on Saturday evening. As in step with police studies, the deceased, Manish Rajput (40), was once a pick-up van driving force and was once addicted to alcohol.
His wife Anshu (36) used to paintings in a tailoring unit in Madiaon. Because in their differences, Anshu was once staying at her maternal house.

The incident happened round 4pm when Manish had gone to the shop where Anshu worked to deliver her again to his house in Indiranagar.

However, she refused to move with him and the couple started arguing. Things took an unpleasant turn when Manish started dousing petrol over his body and immolated himself.

After being alerted, police reached the spot but failed to avoid wasting him. Station space officer of Madiaon police station, Santosh Singh, stated, "As Manish was once wearing a jacket and a sweater, his garments stuck fire simply. He died on the spot.

"He sustained 80 % burn accidents. The body has been sent for a postmortem exam," the SHO added.
