‘Mob attacks on cops result of UP’s thoko niti’

LUCKNOW: Blaming chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s ‘ thoko niti’ (come upon policy) for rise in assaults on police, Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday stated that the federal government’s method has led to jungle raj in the state.

The executive’s method of handling legislation and order and its ‘ thoko niti’ has left police and other people puzzled and as a result they are after every different’s life, he added.

Expressing grief over the unfortunate incident of a police constable being killed in stone pelting via a mob in Ghazipur on Saturday, Akhilesh stated “ Ye ghatna isliye ghati hai kyunki CM sadan mein hon ya manch par hon, unki ek hello bhasha hai ‘thok do’. Kabhi police ko nahi samajh aata kise ‘thokna’ hai kabhi janta ko nahi samajh aata kise ‘thokna’ hai (This incident took place because whether or not in assembly or on level, the CM speaks of come upon. Sometimes, police are not able to grasp whom to beat up and at others other people finally end up in identical confusion)”.

Stating that such incidents remind of ways brigands settled their rankings in Chambal, Akhilesh added, “Purane zamaane mein jo Chambal mein hota tha …. Ki kaun jaye court, kachehri, thane …. Yaheen hisaab kitaab kar lein …. Ye sanskriti BJP ne paida ki hai” (Earlier, in Chambal, outlaws used to kill as they by no means believed in legislation of land and settled disputes themselves. BJP has revived this tradition).”

The protesters in Ghazipur had been tough reservation which was once promised via BJP ahead of elections, he stated. “ Kitnon ko anyay ka saamna karna par raha hai” (Many individuals are facing injustice).” The resentment among other people is rising and is leading to mob violence incidents, he added .

“The BJP executive talks of rule of legislation … what sort of rule of legislation is there when individuals are shot in jail in vast sunlight,” Akhilesh stated referring to jailed mafia don Munna Bajrangi’s murder in prison.

“People must in finding out who all went to satisfy him in jail all the way through Phulpur bypoll,” he stated.

Targeting BJP for the new ‘sting’ wherein aides of ministers had been stuck negotiating transfers and postings, Akhilesh stated that whilst the decrease rung staff has come below scanner, no one is speaking concerning the ‘other people’ who take pleasure in such deals.

Talking of 2019 elections, Akhilesh stated other people would welcome New Year with a new executive at Centre headed via a new Prime Minister. When probed about the potential of a grand alliance for Lok Sabha polls in UP, Akhilesh stated that the pact will likely be in response to ideologies and can deliver together like-minded other people.
