JAIPUR: On the second one day in place of job, the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress executive on Tuesday effected a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 40 IAS officials.
Kuldeep Ranka, 1994 batch IAS officer, was once appointed essential secretary to leader minister Ashok Gehlot. He will change Tanmay Kumar who served in the similar capacity in the earlier regime. Kumar, 1993-batch officer, has been shifted to Bikaner as commissioner, command space building. Ajitabh Sharma has been appointed secretary to the Chief Minister's Officer .
Mukesh Sharma, the senior most IAS officer in the switch listing, was once moved out of the secretariat and appointed as chairman of the state revenue board, Ajmer. The 1984 batch officer, Sharma was once earlier ACS finance and excise. He has been replaced through 1989 batch IAS officer Niranjan Kumar Arya.
ACS industries Rajeev Swaroop has been moved to the home department, whilst his batch mate Sudarsan Sethi has been shifted from tribal building to ACS mines and minerals, woodland and environment.

Subodh Agarwal, 1988 batch officer of ACS rank, will take over the industries and state enterprises department, whilst Veenu Gupta, also ACS rank officer, has been shifted from medical & well being to PWD. Rohit Kumar Singh, chairman and MD of Jaipur Metro, has been transferred to medical and well being dept as essential secretary.
Principal secretary, making plans and IT Akhil Arora has been moved to social justice and empowerment. He has been replaced through Naresh Pal Gangwar. Aparna Arora has been shifted from mines and petroleum to minority affairs. Shikhar Agarwal, 1993 batch officer of essential secretary rank, was once shifted to member revenue board, Ajmer in conjunction with 1995-batch officer Praveen Gupta.
