PATNA: Mohit Prakash of Chhatra JDU bagged the coveted publish of president in the Patna University Students' Union (PUSU). He defeated Abhinav Kumar of ABVP by more than 1000 votes.
Interestingly although JDU and BJP are allies and are operating the state government together, both the events had turf in the PUSU election. BJP had even alleged that JDU vice- president Prashant Kishor of influencing the election the usage of mistaken method.
The publish of vice-president was once bagged by Anjana Singh of ABVP. Manikant Mani of ABVP defeated Aditi Sah of Chhatra JDU to bag the publish of leader secretary. Raja Ravi of ABVP emerged winner for the publish of joint secretary and Kumar Satyam of Chhatra JDU gained the publish of treasurer.
The effects were declared at round 4am on Thursday. However, professional announcement is yet to be made.
However, AISA, AISF and Chhatra RJD, which had contested together, may just not bag any of the 5 key posts. Student wing of Jan Adhikar party may just not even make to councillor posts of various Patna University faculties. This election witnessed document 58% balloting.
