KANPUR: A 63-year-old priest used to be shot at by way of a bunch of unidentified robbers within the premises of Sai Dham temple in Sikanderpur house of Azadnagar in Kannuaj, past due Friday night time.
Police mentioned that the injured priest used to be recognized as Suresh Kumar Dubey.
Kotwali inspector Vinod Mishra, mentioned, "The head priest was fast asleep along with another priest Narain Das Saraswati Baba on ground floor of the temple when the robbers struck. After entering the temple, the criminals shot at Dubey." They miscreants made off with Rs 1.25 lakh money saved within the donation field.
