BENGALURU: To give Karnataka tourism a boost, the federal government has determined to incentivise eight films of any language that show off the state’s outstanding locations.

The cabinet assembly which met on Wednesday approved the scheme mooted by the tourism division, allocating Rs 12.five crore for the yr.



The state executive has capped the motivation underneath Class A (price range as much as Rs 2.five crore) for 3 films and Class B for 5 films (as much as Rs 1 crore). He said the tourism division has set up a screening committee to come to a decision the beneficiaries.
