COIMBATORE: PMK leader Anbumani Ramdoss on Saturday demanded the resignation of Tamil Nadu health minister Vijayabaskar for not protecting two women from HIV infections while blood transfusions.
Ramadoss stated that all through the blood donations, the HIV and Hepatitis take a look at should be executed via the blood banks. But the HIV infected blood was transfused to the women which was a horrible mistake. Tamil Nadu health division should take the responsibility and Health minister Vijayabaskar and health division officials should resign from their posts immediately.
