THANE: Five employees of a gasoline distributing agency had been arrested by Thane police when they had been allegedly transferring gasoline from domestic cylinders to business boxes, police stated Saturday.
Police had raided a godown on January 3 within the district and stuck Boraram Dhatraval (38), Surtaram Dhartraval (30), Vikas Bishnoi (23), Karnaram Dara (30) and Bhudram Baishnoi (23) within the act, a police officer stated.
Police seized gasoline cylinders and different equipment value Rs 23.40 lakh from the spot, he stated.
The officer stated the accused used to withdraw round 2-3 kg gasoline from in line with domestic cylinder.
