THIRUVANANTHAPURAM- Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan ‘sympathized’ with the state unit of Congress birthday celebration, which is facing a disaster over Sabarimala issue.
“The nationwide management of Congress has objected to the stand taken through KPCC and Ramesh Chennithala. Even the try through UDF MPs to satisfy the Prime Minister in the hunt for an ordinance on Sabarimala has been thwarted through the AICC management,” said chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan while inaugurating a birthday celebration meeting at Karette, within the outskirts of the capital.
He said Congress used to be singing the music of Sangh Parivar and BJP, who're openly challenging the Supreme Court in Ayodhya and Sabarimala cases. Vijayan also flayed the BJP and Sangh Parivar for organizing a hartal towards girls entry at Sabarimala.
“They known as a hartal after two girls entered Sabarimala. Now, why they are not organizing a hartal after any other lady entered Sabarimala? Will they name hartal time and again whenever girls enter the temple?” he requested. Earlier, some leaders had threatened self-immolation if girls entered Sabarimala. I don’t know what they are announcing now. Nobody should pass to such extremes, said Vijayan.
After the state secretariat meeting Balakrishnan said KPCC used to be going towards AICC management after being influenced through a group group. “They wish to shape a brand new front in state like the best way they did in 1991. Congress, IUML and BJP are having an unholy nexus like the only they had previous,” he alleged.
He said that the BJP used to be trying to attack CPM and its place of business since they have got to weaken CPM to ensure expansion in Kerala. CPM is the main target of Sangh Parivar since UDF is taking part in second-fiddle, he alleged.
