LUDHIANA: Taking benefit of her speech impairment, a 23-year-old guy allegedly raped a 5-year-old lady, who lived in the similar construction in the labour quarters.
Police have arrested the accused.
Police said the incident had came about at 6.30 pm on Friday, when the lady had been enjoying with different youngsters outside her area. Thereafter, she had long past missing. As her parents started looking for her, they got to grasp that the 23-year-old guy had allegedly taken the lady in opposition to an under-construction construction in the within sight locality where he worked as a painter.
The parents and different citizens of the world rushed in opposition to the construction and stuck the accused sexually assaulting the lady. They thrashed him before handing him over to the police.
Police said the accused knew that the lady used to be speech impaired and would not be capable of disclose anything. Police said the accused used to be being interrogated.
A case below Section 376 (rape) has been registered.
