AMBALA: The district police, acting on the tip-off of a cow vigilante crew, have arrested a Shahbad resident identified as Ajay Chawla with suspected pork on Ambala-Delhi national highway on Wednesday evening. A case against the accused has been registered at Parao police station.
Praveen, member of Sri Krishna Gausewa Society mentioned, “On Wednesday evening we won a tip-off that some person is coming from Shahbad with pork. Accordingly, we informed the district police to set up a checking submit to nab the accused. We had the information that the accused has been promoting pork in Ambala space. The police team set up a checking submit on NH 1 and the accused used to be noticed with a sack tied to his motorcycle without any number plate. When stopped, he attempted to flee but used to be nabbed by the police.”
Station space officer sub-inspector Bhushan Dass mentioned, “We have seized the beef and samples can be sent to Hisar lab. The accused used to be introduced sooner than the court, which has sent him to judicial custody.”
