Ambala food department collects 10 milk, jaggery samples

AMBALA: After receiving many lawsuits from Ambala residents, the district food and medication administration (FDA) department on Saturday accrued 10 samples of milk, jaggery and other edible items from quite a lot of places across the city. The district FDA officer, Subhash Chander, visited quite a lot of shops and factories to gather the samples.


“Acknowledging that some sicknesses are lively in the state, we ordered officials to gather samples of food items from other places. We had gained lawsuits that jaggery manufacturers had been the use of some chemicals, therefore I requested the officials to behavior raids,” said Haryana health minister Anil Vij.


“The samples had been accrued after receiving orders from the health minister. Samples of jaggery have been accrued from Dhiman Cane Crusher, Avsed Ali Gur Kohlu, Bansal Cane Crusher, Shiv Shakti Cane Crusher of Nohni village and Khurshid Gur Kohlu in Khuda Kalan village. Similarly, milk samples have been accrued from a dairy owner Naresh Kumar in Hardi village and Lucky Dairy in Saha. We have additionally accrued samples of atta noodles, chocolate pastry and packaged juice,” the FDA officer said.


He added that the samples will now be sent for inspection to a laboratory in Karnal. “It will take 14 days for the lab to prepare a file. Further action will be taken best after taking into consideration the stories,” the reliable added.
