Azharuddin likely to get Congress Sec’bad ticket

HYDERABAD: Congress is considering the title of its Telangana running president, Mohammed Azharuddin, as a candidate from the Secunderabad parliamentary constituency, top birthday party resources mentioned. Former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, who has represented the Secunderabad constituency twice previously, is the other strong contender for the birthday party ticket.


Sources mentioned some of the two are likely to get the move forward from the birthday party prime command. A senior birthday party leader mentioned, “An inventory of 2 to three applicants with successful possibilities for each of the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state might be sent to the birthday party prime command. The birthday party needs to organize the record through January end or February first week.”

Azharuddin, a former MP from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, has never contested from his house state Telangana or undivided Andhra Pradesh. He had successfully contested from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh in 2009, but lost from Tonk-Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.


Another superstar campaigner, Vijayashanti’s title is into account for Medak or Khammam constituencies. However, the birthday party is likely to depart it to Vijayashanti to take a call.
