Chill to stay today amid shallow fog in Delhi

NEW DELHI: The capital saw a chilly day on Monday as the maximum and minimal temperatures touched 18.nine and 5.5 levels Celsius, respectively, three notches below customary. This used to be the chilliest January 28 since 2012 when the minimal temperature had dropped to 5.


The weatherman has forecast shallow fog on Tuesday morning. "Mainly clear sky and gusty surface winds are likely to prevail during the day. Cold wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated pockets. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 19 and 5 degrees Celsius respectively," a Met legit mentioned.


The air high quality stayed "poor" on Monday because the AQI used to be 267, very similar to Sunday's 261. SAFAR mentioned average winds have been serving to town's air.
