Baby falls from Namma Metro escalator, critical

BENGALURU: In a shocking incident on Sunday night time, an 18-month-old woman child fell from an escalator on the Srirampura Metro station in West Bengaluru and landed on the highway 50 feet under, struggling grievous injuries on her head.

Hasini, daughter of Jayachandra from Prakashnagar, close to Rajajinagar, is battling for her life at Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health. Doctors mentioned she is on a ventilator. The coincidence befell around eight.15pm when Hasini was once being carried by way of her grandfather on the escalator to the platform the place trains transferring against Majestic Interchange stop.
