Case of illegal mining registered against one in Ambala

AMBALA: On the complaint of assistant mining legitimate Sunil Kumar, the district police have registered a case of illegal mining against a resident of village Toka here in the district. The officials won a telephone call complaining about illegal mining in river Roon and then an inspection at village Toka was once conducted through 3 mining department officials.


The Naraingarh police station has registered a case against an accused recognized as Udham Singh alias Rinku for alleged mining of gravel illegally from river Roon.


As in step with the complaint filed through the mining legitimate, "On January 24, they received a phone call from the sarpanch of village Toka complaining about the illegal mining in river Roon, following which the team inspected the spot and found fresh tracks of gravel mining there. During the inspection, no person or machine was witnessed and a local enquiry at the village level was conducted after which it came forward that the illegal mining was being done by Udham Singh alias Rinku."


Sub-inspector of Kala Amb, Bharam Dutt said, "We have registered a case of illegal mining, but no arrest has been made in this case as we were busy with the Republic Day function. We have sent teams to look for the accused Udham and further investigation is on."
