PUNE: Paarth Hebbalkar with 99.97 percentile, Akash Parikh with 99.92 percentile, Dhiraj Kulkarni with 99.89 percentile were one of the most best scorers from Pune in the CAT results declared on Saturday. A complete of 209405 scholars appeared for CAT from across the country out of which 11 scholars secured 100 percentile rating. All the 11 candidates are from engineering/generation background out of which 7 are from Maharashtra.
“We have about 7-8 scholars above 99 percentiles. The results were excellent and the top scorer Paarth Hebbalkar were given 99.97 percentile,” said Ranjit Calangutkar, director, IMS Pune.
For 22-year-old Hebbalkar, whilst Verbal section and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) was once tricky as expected, it was once Quantitative Aptitude section which was once a wonder. “Quant was once harder than expected. I used to be expecting above 99 percentile and I'm hoping I am getting into the dream IIM ABC (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta) or Faculty of Management Studies. I studied from Endeavor Careers and took check series at IMS,” said Paarth who passed out of Electronics and Telecommunication division, Maharashtra Institute of Technology in 2018.
Aniket Mahajan, Marketing head of Career Launcher in Pune said that out of nine scholars from their magnificence have scored above 99 percentile.
