Girl gang-raped by two youths in Agra

AGRA: Weeks after a 15-year-old woman was set on fire by way of three bike-borne youths here, any other 19-year-old woman from a village underneath Achnera police jurisdiction has lodged a police criticism on Thursday night stating that she was abducted, gang-raped and set ablaze by way of two persons, together with her neighbour.

Speaking to TOI, a relative of the survivor stated, "The girl was abducted by two persons, including her neighbour, when she was going to the cattle barn in the morning of January 1. They gagged her and took her to a mustard field. There they raped her and later set her ablaze when she threatened to report the crime."

“We discovered her mendacity bare behind a temple on January 2. She had serious burns on her body and her clothes had been utterly destroyed. She was in deep trauma,” he added.

The cousin additionally added that they have got lodged a police criticism against two persons, together with an unidentified guy.

SSP Agra Amit Pathak stated, "The girl was not set on fire, the probe is on."

SP (rural) Akhilesh Narayan Singh stated, “The woman has been despatched for scientific examination and we're in the technique of filing an FIR.”
