HUBBALLI: Amid all of the efforts that the district administration and civic government are putting in place for the luck of the Kannada Sahitya Sammelana in Dharwad, the indefinite dharna announced by means of the HDMC civic and electrical contractors is giving them jitters.
The contractors are demanding that their expenses, for the works executed for HDMC, be cleared at the earliest. Despite a number of requests to hold a meeting to talk about their issues and provides GST advantages, the HDMC officers failed to hold meeting and transparent their expenses which pressured the contractors to move on an indefinite strike from Monday after boycotting all of the building works, resources stated.
Sharad Doddamani, office-bearer of HDMC civil contractors affiliation, stated, “We comprehend it’s improper time ahead of Sahitya Sammelana to level a protest.
