KOLKATA: A 40-year-old woman used to be gang-raped by way of four unidentified masked males overdue on Wednesday at Khardah’s Patulia off the Kalyani Expressway. Her husband, an area temple priest, who could also be BJP’s Khardah Patulia shakti pramukh claimed within the FIR lodged on Thursday that whilst the criminals tortured his spouse, in addition they stored abusing him.
In the FIR, the BJP booth-level worker alleged his spouse’s tormentors repeatedly threatened that they'd kill him for his political leanings. The Khardah police are investigating the case.
According to the FIR lodged, the priest claimed his spouse used to be returning house after shedding their 12-year-old son to his tuition classes. Two unidentified persons attacked her from in the back of, pressed a handkerchief on her mouth and dragged her to an under-construction construction nearby where two different males joined the duo. All had their faces lined. They torture, stripped after which gang-raped her, the FIR says. The survivor is now in Panihati state general health facility. Her situation is solid.
Police said they have been investigating the case and raids to nab the culprits have been on. The priest said, “I had been with BJP for years now. I participate in birthday celebration campaigns and used to be also their sales space agent within the panchayat elections. I have confronted threats prior to. But I never realised they are going to goal my spouse for my political leanings.”
