NEW DELHI: The country’s services sector activity slowed fairly in December, as new paintings orders and trade activity moderated from November’s recent high, while task introduction noticed an important uptick, a monthly survey mentioned on Friday.
The seasonally adjusted Nikkei India Services Business Activity Index fell to 53.2 in December, from 53.7 in November, amid softer enlargement of activity and new trade.
Despite easing marginally, the services PMI was within the expansion territory for the 7th straight month. In PMI parlance, a print above 50 approach expansion, while a ranking below that denotes contraction.
