VARANASI: Continuing their strike for sixth consecutive day on Wednesday, the boatmen made it transparent that they wouldn't perform boats all the way through proposed Pravasi Bhartiya Divas (NRI meet) from January 21 to 23 if the district administration fails to satisfy their call for.
They are protesting against the cruise boat operator’s move of accumulating passengers from Assi Ghat with the exception of the allocated level at Khidkiya Ghat.
