GUWAHATI: Several Koch Rajbongshi organizations headed through All Koch Rajbongshi Students’ Union (Akrsu) have called a 12-hour Assam bandh from first light to dusk on January 8, accusing the Centre of adopting ‘delaying tactics’ to stave off the rising chorus in call for of granting schedule tribe (ST) standing to 6 communities of the state, together with Koch Rajbongshis.
