Tirupur: Police recovered the body of a 35-year-old man from a drainage within the town on Saturday night.
The deceased used to be recognized as V Ramesh of Tiruvannamalai district. “He had migrated to the greenback town and used to be operating as a tailor in a knitwear corporate. He used to be staying together with his spouse and child at Singapore compound on Sugumar Nagar Fourth Street. Ramesh used to be addicted to alcohol and had a quarrel with Vijay Anand, son of his space owner, on Saturday night in an drunk condition. His body used to be came upon within the drainage reverse to Karupparayan temple on Karumarampalayam. Injuries have been visual at the stomach area,” a police officer stated.
Ramesh’s widow advised police that she suspected the involvement of Vijay Anand within the incident.
Tirupur north police have registered a case below Section 174 of CrPC. Postmortem used to be performed at the Tirupur Government Hospital. Further investigations are on.
