Subsidy for MIG homebuyers extended till 2020

NEW DELHI: First time home buyers with annual source of revenue between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 18 lakh can follow for pastime subsidy till March 2020.


This used to be introduced by means of Union housing and urban affairs minister, Hardeep Singh Puri. "The growth and performance of credit linked subsidy scheme for middle income group has been very good and we are on course to having about one lakh beneficiaries by the end of this year," Puri said.


The graduation of a Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme for the Middle Income Group (CLSS for MIG), to meet the aspirations of younger execs and marketers of heart class section, used to be introduced by means of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 31, 2016.


The scheme used to be originally launched for 12 months and lined beneficiaries of MIG in the hunt for housing loans for acquisition/ construction of houses (including re-purchase) from banks, housing finance corporations and different such notified institutions.


Beneficiaries get about Rs 2.5 lakh upfront subsidy, which they are able to pay for down cost.
