SUV driver mows down Mum teen on New Year Eve

MUMBAI: A Class nine student from Nalasopara was overwhelmed to death by means of an SUV on the New Year Eve on Monday.

According to the police, the driving force of the SUV hit him while fleeing from a nakabandi

Mandar Kasekar, the deceased, was waiting for his friend alongside a highway when the speeding car hit him. He died on the spot.

The driving force of the car was intercepted by means of the locals and was handed over to the Tuling police.

At around 11.30pm, Mandar, a student of the Mother Mary School in Nalasopara, was ready alongside the road at Agarwal Circle. His scooter was additionally parked there.

A speeding SUV coming from the opposite direction jumped the divider and crashed into Mandar.

The driving force, who was reportedly under the influence of alcohol, had fled from a nakabandi a couple of meters away and was being chased by means of the police. The driving force drove rashly and misplaced control of the car.

Eye witnesses mentioned that the driving force drove the automobile in a zig zag approach ahead of jumping the divider.

The process of submitting a case in opposition to the driving force is underway.
