KALYAN: A 21-year-old guy was arrested for allegedly stealing students' cell phones outside faculties and coaching categories.
The accused, Ram Shinde, would stroll as much as boys with "expensive" telephones and inform them that he [the student] was sending vulgar messages to his [Shinde's] sister or female friend. He then snatched the phone to "check the messages", and would flee with the phone. The police said Shinde and two of his aides had duped six other people in Thane-Kalyan-Dombivli.
