AHMEDABAD: Vehicle registration with the collection GJ-01 (Ahmedabad metropolis RTO) has registered a decline of 12.55%, whilst the total decline in Ahmedabad including Vastral and Bavla RTO has registered a decline of five.73%.
According to the information the GJ-01 collection registered 1.88 lakh vehicles in 2018, whilst the similar in 2017 was once 2.15 lakh. GJ-27 collection of the Vastral RTO registered 1.04 lakh in opposition to 1.03 lakh in 2017.

Amit Khatri, a city-based road safety professional, said, “I personally really feel that that the parking factor is preventing people from purchasing new vehicles. Apart from traffic congestion problems, I feel that the use of radio cabs has also larger in the metropolis.”
Khatri says more corporates in the metropolis are facilitating mass delivery for its workforce and hence the need for a 2d automobile has been satisfied and people don't seem to be purchasing further vehicles.
