MUMBAI: The 16-year-old, Virar girl, who was once allegedly set ablaze via her father for speaking on the cellphone succumbed to burn accidents in a Mumbai clinic on Saturday.
On December 31, round 2 pm when Shaista Mansoori was once speaking on her cellphone, her father Mohammed scolded her. Suspecting that she was once speaking to her boyfriend, he destroyed her cellphone and started beating her.
As Shaista beginning working out of their floor flooring flat in Noor Manzil, he dragged her to the kitchen, poured kerosene on her and set her on fireplace.
She ran out of the house while screaming for assist after which neighbours took her to the nearby Sanjeevani clinic.
With over 70 in line with cent burns she was once shifted to the KEM clinic in Mumbai the place she was once on ventilator support.
Mansoori was once arrested and booked for attempt to murder on the foundation of the girl's commentary given to the police.
