2 ATM thieves arrested

Kanpur: Two ATM thieves were arrested by surveillance group of ADG Kanpur zone on Sunday. Ajay and Manish Kumar, each citizens of Shyamnagar area of Chakeri, had been arrested while they had been on option to hack some other ATM on Sunday, the official instructed TOI. The accused, each motor mechanic, knowledgeable the police that they used to change off the ATM energy panel and then thieve the money, mentioned the official. “They also used to eliminate the CCTV installed in the ATM before stealing money,” mentioned official additional. The accused have admitted committing crimes at Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. The police have recovered 19 ATM cards and Rs 8,000 in money from their ownership. “Following inputs given by the two, the police at the moment are on lookout for their accomplices,” mentioned ADG Kanpur zone Avinash Chandra. tnn
