KOLKATA/HOWRAH: A 24-year-old B-school scholar from Kolkata used to be killed en route to Mandarmani when the rented automobile she used to be travelling in overturned at Dak Ghar crossing of NH-6 at Howrah’s Panchla around 10am on Wednesday. Howrah SP (rural) Gaurav Sharma said, “The automobile has been seized. It will undergo forensic and different exams to ascertain the cause of the coincidence.”
News of her demise reached the Khemka family on the sprawling Diamond Apartments around 2pm. Neighbours poured in and kin arrived to pay their condolences. The body arrived at 8pm.
“I met her simply two days ago. I didn't know I might be back so soon to accomplish her final rites,” said Dinesh Sharma, a priest who has identified the family for 30 years.
The youngest of four siblings, Khemka used to be looking ahead to her MBA results. Her two older brothers have retail outlets within the Theatre Road AC marketplace.
