40 tribal youths get trained in collecting forest produce

NAGPUR: The 113 battalion of Central reserve police power (CRPF), stationed at sensitive Murumgaon in Maoist-affected north Gadchiroli, organized a 28-day coaching in selection of woodland produce and also growing farm products for the tribal adolescence of the far off hamlets within the backward district. The initiative used to be undertaken as part of the ‘Civic Action’ programme of CRPF.


The programme, attended by round 40 youths from Murumgaon and adjacent villages, used to be commenced on February 20. CRPF, issuing a press unlock mentioned that there used to be palpable enthusiasm a few of the participants . CRPF may be going to repeat such civic movements within the neighbouring hamlets.


Commandant of 113 battalion of CRPF N Shivshankara, second-in-command officer Rajpal Singh, deputy commandant Pramod Shirshat, assistant commandant Sarvesh Tripathi and cops from Murumgaon Armed Outpost of Gadchiroli were present on the inaugural. Prof Kundan Dupare from Dhanora-based JSPM faculty too used to be present amongst others.
