Hubballi: Various Dalit organizations have said that the results of magnificence 1 to nine must be introduced on April 14 as an alternative of April 10 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar.
Taking out a rally here on Friday, Dalit leaders below Hubballi-Dharwad Vividha Dalit Sangha-Samsthegala Mahamandala, submitted a memorandum to the chief minister during the Hubballi tahsildar workplace.
They said the whole international celebrates Ambedkar’s birth anniversary as international knowledge day. “The Union government has declared April 14 as a countrywide vacation whilst the state government observes the anniversary at all government workplaces, faculty and colleges. However, the birthday celebration takes place in the absence of scholars as schools announce results on April 10 itself,” they added.
“If government has actual appreciate against Ambedkar, it must facilitate all children to participate in his birth anniversary celebrations. It must revise the educational calendar and announce summer time holiday from April 14 after the celebrations,” they steered.
