THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP warned of dire consequences if state govt intervened in matters associated with temple management. The govt will have to make it clear who has requested the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) commissioner and the TDB recruitment board chief to intrude in Sabarimala case earlier than the Supreme Court and why TDB president was once saved in the dark, requested the state management of the birthday party.

BJP spokesman M S Kumar stated there would be critical consequences if govt interfered with the functioning and management of temples in long term. He alleged that the devaswom commissioner was once appearing on the directives of CPM and the AKG Centre.
