HYDERABAD: A 10-year-old boy died after his head were given stuck between the raise front grille and half-closed inside of grille of Tirumala Nilayam Apartments at Balaji Nagar in Medchal on Tuesday. The boy, Malapati Hemant Kumar, used to be the son of the development watchman. The circle of relatives hails from Prakasam in AP.
Police mentioned the boy had taken the raise from the third flooring to go down. "The lift kept moving even when the inside grille was not fully closed," Medchal inspector Gangadhar mentioned, including that boy's mother heard the creaking noise and attempted to prevent the raise. "But by the time she rushed to the first floor, Hemant was unconscious. He had choked to death," Gangadhar mentioned.
