MOHALI: There was an environment of unrest in Zirakpur on Sunday after there were rumours of kidnapping by four unidentified men. However, as the day progressed, it got here to the fore that the four men have been in fact police group of workers wearing simple garments, and have been removing an accused in their car.

Around 11.30am four men in white Maruti Swift Dezire car bearing Chandigarh registration number arrived at VIP Road and allegedly shoved a man into the automobile and drove away.
